Step App is an innovative Move-to-Earn platform that rewards users for physical movement. With over 300,000 active users, 9M unique wallets and a presence in 100+ countries, the project exemplifies the intersection of fitness and blockchain innovation.
Project overview
Step App combines fitness, gaming, and blockchain, offering one of the
most practical blockchain use cases in the move-to-earn space. As a
standout example of blockchain for business, it leverages custom
blockchain development to power Step Exchange for EVM swaps, a wallet
that bridges in-game custodial balances with Web3, and a Launchpad for
decentralized projects – all while incorporating principles of supply chain
blockchain to ensure secure and transparent asset flows.

Web Wallet Creation
A web wallet was designed to manage both custodial and non-custodial assets, demonstrating blockchain application examples by enabling smooth transfers between in-game balances and Web3 wallets.
Telegram Mini-App Development
The StepHero added an engaging dimension
to the StepApp ecosystem. Designed to encourage activity
through gamified daily challenges and social interaction,
it created a vibrant community hub directly within Telegram.
Comprehensive Launchpad Setup
A decentralized Launchpad was introduced to empower project developers within the StepApp ecosystem.

CHALLENGE
StepApp needed to integrate fitness tracking with blockchain, ensuring real-time data sync for a user-friendly experience. The platform also required a secure staking system, a real-time marketplace, and Web3 adoption that wouldn’t compromise accessibility.

The platform now features a DEX, Launchpad, Web Wallet, and Staking dApp, along with the StepHero Telegram Mini-App to enhance engagement. These innovations have driven Web3 gamification and mass adoption, attracting 9M+ unique wallets across 100+ countries.
